Learn a little about beach glass, make a bracelet and drink some wine! Participants will be provided with all of the materials, including use of tools, wire, cord, and two charms and the beach glass, or participants may bring their own beach glass for the class or even just for show and tell. At the end of the class the instructor will do a short drilling demonstration, and if class participants want to bring in a piece of their own beach glass for her to drill she will gladly do that for them too.

1 p.m. Start at Grand River Cellars Winery & Restaurant for a food and wine experience in the Wine Cave featuring 4 small plates paired with 4 wines. In addition, taste two samples of fresh pressed juice from the harvest that week. Come early and enjoy a light lunch before your tasting.
2 p.m. Drive down the road to Debonne Vineyards for a tour and tasting. Enjoy the sights and especially the smells of the harvest crush. Your tour will include grape pressing (if weather permits), the processing facility and the juice house and finish with 4 wine samples. This is a basic level of yoga, you will need to provide your own mat. The yoga class will last for one hour and the mingling can last for as long as you’d like.

CASK A PROGRESSIVE WINE TASTING EVENT Noon– 5:00 PM– $6.00 per person at each winery The cask project began as an idea in 2010 to have a continual red blend from the Grand River Valley. Each year a percentage of the wine will be bottled and sold to make room for the next year’s harvest. The date on the bottle represents the year it began “10″ and the year it was bottled “17″. Each winery used a different 500 gallon oak barrel with vinifera grapes from their farm. Join us for our 6th annual event as we pop the cork on our vintage “Cask 1017″. Join Debonne Vineyards, Ferrante Winery, Grand River Cellars, Laurello Vineyards, and St. Joseph Vineyards for an afternoon of wine sampling and tasty appetizers.
