Saturday, September 14, 2013 – Grand River Valley CASK Tasting
A PROGRESSIVE WINE TASTING EVENT
Noon– 5:00 PM– $6.00 per person at each winery
The cask project began as an idea in 2010 to have a continual red blend from the Grand River Valley. Each year a percentage of the wine will be bottled and sold to make room for the next year’s harvest. The date on the bottle represents the year it began “10″ and the year it was bottled “13″. Each winery used a different 500 gallon oak barrel with vinifera grapes from their farm. Join us for our 2nd annual event as we pop the cork on our first vintage “Cask 1013″.
Join Debonne Vineyards, Ferrante Winery, Grand River Cellars, Laurello Vineyards, and St. Joseph Vineyards for an afternoon of wine sampling and tasty appetizers.
